So besides doing tutorials, I will be showing snippets of my work here and there. This is the first post to preview this. So I have been wanting to make a space simulation game for quite awhile now, and have decided to do a bit of work on it now and then. Enter the ambassador. A small hacking ship (AHCS stands for automated hacking computer ship) who relies purely on infiltrating enemies with code to override their control units with the purpose of controlling them. It was modeled in blender and then exported via the FBX exporter into Unity, where it can be programmed for game development. It is a relatively simple 3D object, I used planes for the various wires you may notice on the ship, and in this photo the realtime renderer is running at 77.2 FPS (frames per second).
